Are increased Illegal temples and charity offerings India’s confidence index ?

Are increased Illegal temples and charity offerings India’s confidence index ?

What to millions of Indians do when they feel help less, hopeless. Either they pray god or atlest invent one where there is least possibility. a large chunk of land thus remains under illegal occupation. With a billion plus population of different ethnicity, cast, creed or religion share india calling it their home. I do saibaba or a more famous idols of favourite god (the hv name and fame coz they fulfill all wishes ) sitting on nuked and footpaths these days with all their happy posses .

In Mumbai alone there are 800 illegal temple (officially), well do that signify people are turning more religious in this “ghor kaliyug” or they are becoming more helpless... Whatever may be the reason it is true that putting up two stones or occupying a piece of land in the name of religion is a blatant crime and it must halt because such land belongs to all citizens and not just some groups and sects.

I have seen gods of all shapes and sizes till date, in fact even herd a debate on the shape being one of 360 crore gods from hindu Vedas. Some said it is a trunk , others said it is gadha, rest said it is vahan of devi (swan) but all agreed to one fact that it was a hindu god and need to be worshipped.

I am nt a Marxist or atheist , i m more concerned about the later part which is demolition and hurting feeling and the cycle continues.

We got enough problem to worries , but looking at these increased number of illegal temples and charity offering, a second thought is bound to touch mind. if it is true that people resort to all sort modes to get “man ki shanti”, Indians are very unhappy and they do not have confidence in their leadership nor do they feel a sense of achievement or ownership of their deeds i.e. their life is not in their control. It is also evident from the latest world happiness index.India ranks 36 below SAARC peers.

Country (Rank) *The Happy Planet Index 2009

Bhutan 17

SriLank 22

Pakistan 24

Banglades 31

India 35

Nepal 37

Burma 39

Do we have a solution , first for illegal temples and then on crises of happiness. Had I to answer , why would I exclaim “Ho my god!”

Law of Discretion (coming closer to reality).

Law of Discretion (coming closer to reality).

Rules – Reality = Discretion

May be many of u , know this not in a proper phrase , only difference is I am putting it down in a systematic manner( don’t jump to any conclusion, keep reading) .

Today when i look back , what did I achieve by doing an MMS , virtually I can say nothing, I still have pair hands and legs, no change in my ENT or look ..lolzz, but there is a change not apparent but deep within , I got a vision , a taste of reality .

Considering my experience In last 18 months I can surely say that Masters are not made in 6 months of any specialisation. What a MMS Course really teaches is a great decision making, and a very good learning attitude (MBA learn anything in ½ the time of normal individual).

Consider CEO of a soft drink giant can head a computer or an automobile corp.

Well the point i am driving is the equation I hv put forth , need a clear understanding if we keep aside the idea of god, world is defiantly governed by laws of physics and mathematics (for apparent things ) they need not be very dynamic . but a society ,frames law for itself.

Still these laws leave a gap for probabilistic events , which are later adjusted by amendments adjustments and addition.

There cannot be laws for everything , reality makes it dynamic , there is also a web of unwritten rules ,that is not the point i an talking.

I am talking about Discretion (judgement).those who are under a heavy dose of “perception” or the “perceived reality” (Hey prabhu ... lolzzz ). The real art is to come closer to reality, I did say that master are not made in 6 months , was it so wt the heck was I doing five years of graduation. Not all the time was production nor the things i learned were relevant (look act companies act 1956, or accounting standards).

Well there are ways to develop a correct idea (perception) of reality,

How ,

1. Being informed by any means.

2. Discussion ,( I find many interested in “current affairs” )

We take decision on perceived reality and the facts available, but the facts can be made more meaningful if one knows the back ground. There are failed examples of masters dropping an idea coz they didn’t understand or believed in the potential.

In the end i say only one thing , Past is well documented present , reading and understanding others views is essential if it is not done now, it will be a game over..!!

Barefoot runner

On Sunday there was Standard charted Mumbai marathon , actually it is in the top10 marathons in the world , i feel nice to knw that. All the three spots were wone east Africans , trio of Kenyan athletes showed once again why the East African nation is the world's premiere producer of long-distance runners, by sweeping the results at the 2010 Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon.

There was a lot of hype for running for a cause, i wonder weather tht pays, any way, in 2008 during the oil and subprime crises i ws regularly following east African more closely , well

I did follow Zimbabwe which saw record braking inflation of a billion plus percentage (we only hv a billon plus population ..lolzz) currently at 26% . thats enough inflation to change prices every 8 min.

I followed south Africa, which has a high problem of illegal migrants from underdeveloped neighbouring , and related issue.

Ethiopia , Somalia and Nigerian which hv gangs practically pulling apart country (i will defiantly write on the political condition of these nation in details , but later) a fight for natural resources, against draught and running and fighting form/against gangs.

M sharing details about two books today 1st is the white Masai and 2nd is Barefoot runner.i hv read the first one, yet 2 read second book.

The white Masai – masai is a tribe living in the sanctuaries spread in Kenya and Tanzania with harmony for years , the rich natural heritage attracts people across the globe ,

The plot of the story is about attraction how author (female) visits the reserve and finds “love of hir life”, Unlike the temporary nature of most such affairs, this dramatic story leads the heroine-author to marry a masai warrior .

Having fallen for the beautiful Masai warrior, Lketinga, during a holiday in Kenya, Corinne, a successful Swiss business woman, decides to follow her heart. She sells her belongings back home, returns to Kenya on the adventure of her life. There, her lack of awareness of local customs creates more than one drama. She doesn't give up, however, and learns to adjust. Her descriptions of the life among the tribe in a remote part of Kenya contain insights into the traditional life that they lead. Warmth of feelings and even tenderness develop between her and "Mama" in particular, but also with the closer family and neighbours. Her love to Lketinga does not diminish despite the numerous challenges they are facing as a result of their vastly different backgrounds.

The local diet, malaria, hepatitis and her pregnancy all pose threats to her health and even survival. Several times she visits Switzerland to recoup her strength, but as soon as she leaves Kenya, she yearns to return. To contribute to the basic economic stability of the community, Corinne buys a car that allows her to ferry supplies from the nearest town to the settlement. She even opens a local shop which creates benefits for the family but also results in tensions between her business approach and her husband's tradition and customs. It is hard for her to accept that the cultural differences between her and her husband may risk her continued stay in Kenya.

In the end she has to draw painful consequences. Using "a needed vacation" with her daughter as a ruse, she does not to return to Kenya for many years. Finally author returned to Kenya with her daughter after 14 years to meet up with her Kenyan family.

The second book is about Ethiopia .name is barefoot runner

Its on Abebe Bikila , first African to ever to win Olympic gold medal in running, It was in 1969 at Greece Olympic , when abebe ran without shoes and wone .

M yet to read this book , bt back then i came across this book as a summary.. i wll soon get my hands on in (i hv asked my liberay @ collage to get it)

Dangerous knowledge Self-awareness

Well I was just reading book by Rama Bijapurkar for 2nd time this book basically is about how to become successful as a business in a diverse place live India, where it give an in-depth analysis of Indian social, demographical image.

Well I don’t have any personal say on her work coz it is a piece of work I cant stop admiring , but one thing I did realise by reading this ,is as people are shown mirror they grow self aware, and demand their place in the whole system creating complexities, people demand customised services ant a standard prise.

Well this does not mean other places other market of the globe are any less complex , but Indian markets is about a lot of people consuming a little bit each that adds up to a lot

Thus it is about cobbling together clever and low cost solutions that are combinations and adaptation of the products, and ideas to sell the product available in the markets across globe.

This essentially means companies have to struggle to conquer each part of “little bit”, as a emerging with such a big challenge makes it “love it hate it but u cant ignore it” types .

To conquer that “little bit” to make it a “lot” today, companies are hv started to treat each individual as a niche market, collection of individual with similar consumption patterns makes it a larger niche

Here I need to make a statement which i learned recently “when services are treated as manufacturing facilities , they result in increased productivity” but the very foundation of this statement is flawed , as customization lessen speed suffering @ quantity. Thus the cost factor of increased lag time is the premium. thus services stress on HOW than WHAT . (subba rao is wrong!!)

Well probing deeper into India’s diversity lies the answer and my title “Dangerous Knowledge –self-awareness” the whole system of customization keeps consumer at apex.

To make my view generalistic , the problem of identity “State issue of vidharba/telengana/ dargeling..) hv the same core.

Whats the solution, we cant stop people becoming self-aware or joining group of have nots , so the virtual solution is nothing , coz same is the reason of competition .

Self-awareness>>customisation>> competition . Is the cycle.

Do let me knw u r views on my argument.

Nation with all bachelors

Nation with all bachelors!

The other day I was writing my resume (Ctrl C + Ctrl P) I just realised one terrible mistake,
the last completed degree is a Bachelors!!
Not long before when I didn’t understand difference between bachelor and unmarried..nt even oxford English dictionary tells u the difference, the last time I was @ my campus I had privilege to sit for a ethics lecture fr few moment .. That’s when my fav.. Prof. Subbarao went on explaining the meaning (I cant handle him more) ..
A Bachelor is a person who is not married not intends to get married and has never hd physical pleasures (censored) lol..
And an unmarried person is v.a.v

This explains the reason why globally, except few all universities, most award a degree as freshmen degree or any thing else but not a bachelors..
In our terms, 20percent of urban loose virginity before there gradation so where is the question of being a bachelor..

On a serious note we need to have a look at our graduation structure..

Consider a recent fact that 1/3 of the knowledge studied in 1st year of gradation become obsolete at th end of third year. Thus a person securing 60 % at graduation is ~ 40% or less industry ready. and people skipping a year or two after graduation are almost raw., just fit for the jobs of call center or a part of sales force.

What MNC’s demand, a post graduate for a clerical jobs ? Now a days they prefer
masters in any field .. lol
For this what does our university do .. Give a vocational course which gives more of technical knowledge that any skill (theses subjects are often considered scoring than those traditional subjects , resuliting in increased compition ) as a result most of the graduate end up unemployed and running for a post graduate degree (jst look what is the condition of MBA’s and MMS .. CAT & CET make very good business than professionals).. At end of which they realize what the hell they have been doing (this realisation is also * conditions applied).
Here m not talking about those engneering degrees coz I don’t knw much about it..

what the possible solution .

1) give 5 years USSR Pattern a toilet paper.. Revise syllabus every 2 years.
2) compulsory affiliated collages to have campus placement.
3) and please, rename bachelor degree its some thing more meaning ful..considering our neighbor Pakistan has graduation degree named as freshmen degree..

Change with no difference

well, now a days few words that rule the b school campus are
1 change
2 perception
3 entrepreneurship
among other are the whole new thesaurus from business bible.. But these are the words significant as obama wone a election just by calling “We want Change”
and on the domestic front, Indians voted out change and stuck their bets on the Manmohan
and Sonia..
And this is what I called “Change with no Difference”

With much exclaimed win of obama , brought The only significant bill Obama has signed has been the $787 billion stimulus package, he persuaded a Congress controlled by massive Democratic majorities to spend a pile of money. How much skill does that take?

And that one piece of legislation has – to say the least – not accomplished its purported purpose, since the economy remains weak and unemployment is still rising.

And the big executive order he signed on Day One? To close Guantanamo Bay? That’s now not going to happen because Obama has realized that when he made that promise, he didn’t know what the hell he was talking about.

Any way you look at it, Obama has been an ineffective president who has accomplished nothing of substance – in spite of the huge congressional majorities his party controls.

When the 2008 election results became clear, conservatives began preparing for Armageddon. With Democratic majorities that big, and a president as liberal as Obama, surely would see socialized medicine, massive expansion of the welfare state, introduction of new regulations and controls on business.

Well that did nt happen which has resulted making obama just as administrator and nothing more
(He is M I khan) than a powerful puppet.

On the democratic font India voted the same failed government again to power not because they achieved some thing significant , but because of lack of confidence in the the opposition, and we know how weak our opposition is , which ever party comes to power the ultimate rule prevails of the congress party.

I would defiantly write about Indian politics in the days to come , but for tody its enough to say
change with no differene
